“Abortion : a right that does not exist and never existed”

PRESS RELEASE | The ONE OF US Federation, whose birth and mission is framed in the life of the unborn human being to defend and protect it as ONE OF US, applauds and supports the decision of the US Supreme Court in Roe vs. Wade. Today we celebrate the defense of the unborn child as ONE OF US. Today, justice supports science by pointing out that the unborn human being is a human being and therefore is worthy of being protected. Today’s decision by the United States Supreme Court to overturn Roe v Wade is a crucial milestone for the right to life and for the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family, the unborn child. Today, after 50 years and after the number of more than 60 million legal abortions in the USA, the unborn baby can be legally protected. The decision of Roe v Wade will be attacked and misrepresented, without a doubt. In the face of this decision, we already see how most media commentators are quick to launch attacks against the pro-life movement, without analyzing in a fair, rational and honest way the compelling personal and cultural reasons that have contributed to today’s decision. With the overwhelming media coverage in favor of abortion, there are many gaps that are not taken into account to present to the public the accurate version of what has led the Supreme Court to this historic ruling. It is the mission of all of us to fill those gaps and explain all those reasons by appealing to the fundamental one: the unborn baby is ONE OF US. The imposition of abortion as a unique and unappealable doctrine raises serious doubts as of today. Abortion certainly remains, but it IS NOT A RIGHT. Human rights win today because there is only the right to life, there is no right to death. The One of Us Federation celebrates this victory of human rights, of the right to life and proposes a fair position and analysis of this decision. We congratulates all women because today we are freer.
